Woolworths' 15 cent reusable plastic shopping bags will be a thing of the past, as stores in NSW, Tasmania and Victoria begin phasing them out.

The bags have already been ditched from stores across the rest of the country in the past 12 months.
Shoppers will be asked to bring their own bags, but for those who get caught out, paper bags and other reusable options can be bought in store.
According to the supermarket, eight in every 10 customers already bring their own bags when they shop.
"We're excited to have Victoria, NSW and Tasmania complete our national journey to remove the 15 cent plastic shopping bag from all our stores nationwide," Woolworths Supermarkets director of stores Jeanette Fenske said.
"Having reusable bags on hand has become second nature for many shoppers, and so far we have seen our customers embrace this change with their usual eagerness to do good for the environment."
The 15 cent plastic bag was brought in when Woolworths scrapped single-use plastic bags in 2018.

It aimed to help shoppers adjust to the change.
In coming weeks, stock of the bags will be gradually run down - removing more than 9000 tonnes of plastic from circulation in Australia, the supermarket said.
"Bringing your own bags is the very best outcome for the environment, and we encourage our customers to keep up the great work," Ms Fenske said.
"Paper bags will continue to be available for those who forget to bring their own - but ultimately we want to sell less bags altogether."
Woolworths' paper shopping bags are designed to be reused and are made from at least 70 per cent recycled paper.
